This year, the Cultural Resistance International Film Festival (called last year ‘Tripoli International Film Festival’) will be held from the 12 – 17 November, in Beirut, Saida, Tyre and Zahleh.
40 films from Asia and Mediterranean will be presented to allow Lebanon to speak one same language for one week : the language of cinema.
This year, the festival includes three competitions: A fiction competition, A documentary competition, and the NETPAC competition (promoting Asian cinema around the world). It will also include seminaries, a film review contest and the Oscar Niemeyer contest that will be announced on November 12.
