DATA4CHAN.GE are bringing talented people in the visual storytelling community together with human rights organisations that have fascinating original datasets and powerful stories to tell.

On the 28th of November until the 2nd of December, they will be hosting a 5-day visualisation workshop at Ashkal Alwan, where they will put together teams that will work on original datasets gathered by the participating human rights organisations. During the workshop the interdisciplinary teams will create data visualisations and devise innovative advocacy strategies. They will also bring in the experts to support an amazing learning environment for five days.

They are looking for designers, researchers, journalists, developers and human rights organisations interested in working with cutting edge data that’s on the frontline of highlighting human rights violations across the MENA region to apply to attend the 5-day visualisation workshop.
