At the Seams. A Political History of Palestinian Embroidery
Curated by Rachel Dedman
The first of the Palestinian Museum’s satellite exhibitions outside the West Bank the exhibition will present Palestinian embroidery in exciting new light: as a form of heritage-driven nationalism, militant resistance, nascent economic power and a constant, critical source of inspiration for contemporary artists and designers.
Dar El-Nimer promotes deeper historical awareness and keener intellectual maturity by hosting productions by curators, writers, historians, performers, musicians and filmmakers whose works engage with the challenging social realities and political currents shaping the region.
