Ashkal Alwan offers 2 to 3 artists each year a 2- to 3-month research residency in Beirut, covering travel, accommodation and per diem.
The Ashkal Alwan residency program targets Arab and international visual artists, writers and curators–emerging or established–and is mostly by invitation, but occasionally spontaneous applications are considered (contact Kasia Wlaszczyk at for more information).
