Set in the universe of a forgotten manga, this video-lecture presents a fanfiction involving humanoid geologies, portable holes, and technical delusions. The narrative of a tourism department official plays host to counterfeit theories connecting Outsider art, suspect materials, and the physics of cartoons.

Mochu works with video and text arranged as installations, lectures, and publications. Techno-scientific fictions feature prominently in his practice, often overlapping with instances or figures drawn from art history and philosophy. Exhibitions include the 9th Asia-Pacific Triennial (2018; the 4th Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2018); Sharjah Biennial 13 (2017); the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, Delhi (2017); and Transmediale BWPWAP, Berlin (2013). He is currently based in Delhi and Istanbul.
